Concrete structure is vulnerable to weathering due to its porosity. With long exposure to sunlight, water and air, the binding strength of concrete reduces. In places where concrete is exposed to acid and chemical fumes, the strength of concrete reduces drastically and a chunk of it comes off in no time.
RE-STRENGTHENING
Injection pressure grouting pump is used to inject DUROMAX EP GROUT into the porous concrete. Non-Returnable Valves (NRV) are drilled inside the concrete at a foot’s distance and the product is pumped into the same. It restores strength of the concrete as it cures.
CRACK BRIDGING
Cracks formed are first cut to form a V-shaped grove. Duromax GP Putty is then applied manually to fill the cracks as deep as feasible. Deep cracks are injected with Duromax EP Grout.
REINFORCEMENT
Damaged concrete structure needs to be reinforced after its interior is strengthened and cracks are bridged. Not only it imparts strength to the structure but also seals the structure which protects it from weathering agents. Fibre sheet is pasted in between two coats of Duromax Sealerkote ER.
Note: In presence of acid or chemical fumes, apply Chemkote CH as top coat
